Petals, Prints & Peace in Westwood Village — A Spring Day with Upward Together 🌸

Today, under the soft sun of Westwood Village, something quiet and beautiful unfolded.

Gathered on linen-covered tables with ink-stained fingertips and fresh blooms scattered like confetti, our community came together to celebrate the season with nature printmaking—an artful, grounding experience hosted by Upward Together.

Inspired by spring’s first blush, participants of all ages pressed flowers into paper, painted leaves in golden tones, and made memories in soft color and calm. Each print held more than pigment—it held presence.

This wasn’t just about making art. It was about being—fully here, fully now.

Mindful Making, Seasonal Shift

As the hum of the afternoon drifted through the air, kids giggled while crafting floral bursts, adults sipped warm drinks and lingered in conversation, and strangers became neighbors through shared creativity.

Nature printmaking is slow work—in the best way. It asks you to pause, to press with intention, to notice the detail in a leaf’s edge or the way lavender falls. It’s ritual meets play, and today, it met spring perfectly.

Today’s experience was a reminder that wellness lives in simple things: a moment to breathe, a hand to hold, a flower turned into art. That’s the spirit of Upward Together—creating peace of mind through creativity, connection, and care.
