Upward Together: Our Mission
Established in 2016, hailing from San Francisco, CA our home base is in Los Angeles, California. Upward Together imagines a future where humans prioritize creative expression as a catalyst for igniting connections to foster healthy communities. Create and connect with mixed media visual art workshops combined with mindfulness practices in schools, for professional development and beyond.
Our mission supports social and emotional learning. Whether it is through thought-provoking discussions or interactive group activities we foster a deep understanding and appreciation for art among our workshop participants. With a background in trauma - informed training, our teaching artists are dedicated educators, demonstrating unparalleled passion for the arts. Our team has expertise in the fields of photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, art history, printmaking, meditation, yoga, and art therapy with a specialization in counseling.
